“ Abit noisy. But our server was amazing, the food was so tasty. My vegan daughter was so happy to find food that she could eat. ”
“ Really nice place on the water. We had my mom's 80th birthday lunch here, just before the Christmas holidays, so things were festive and busy with parties held there. The food was delicious, the wait staff were professional, and the area is lovely. Everyone got a different dish, and we all loved what we got. Note...since the pandemic, they no longer do an all you can eat brunch. Just lunch and dinner. ”
“ We stopped in for appetizers and everything was amazing. We had an older Asian woman as our waitress and she was extremely kind and gave us good conversation. She made the visit much more enjoyable. I was visiting my sister in the area but next time I’m in town, i will definitely be requesting to come back to this restaurant. Also wanted to add that prices were very fair ”
“ We enjoyed a fantastic three-course meal during restaurant week. We let our waitress, Swan, make the selections, and she did not disappoint! The vibes were great, and she had a lovely personality. ”
“ We have been satisfied diners at the Carrol's Creek Cafe for several years now. We drive almost an hour to reach their location in Annapolis, so it is always a special treat for us. Their convenient parking is a breeze, but do make sure you have your parking ticket validated. Their red wine onion soup is one of our favorites, with a rich flavorful broth, but not as salty as other versions of onion soup, well worth a try. Their seasonal citrus and beet salad is my personal salad selection, if it is not available, the Carrol Creeks salad is also quite good. Their infrequent offering of soft shell crab appetizer is described as "whale sized" by the waiter but in actuality is quite modest and smaller than we would have liked for the price. Their entree selection is good, we usually go with the specials offered that evening. Their poached grouper was perfectly prepared with a moist tender texture that was excellent, the lemongrass flavoring was delicious. Their desert menu is worth a look. The Expresso creme brulee is highly recommended, their ice cream is rich and creamy with crafted flavors, the flour less chocolate cake (gluten free) is also very nice. We visit Carrol's Creek Cafe on special occasions and would visit more often if we were nearer! A great place to dine and relax with a view of the boats in the marina. Photos added to review from subsequent visit Jan 2025: Dining room, view, bar, restroom. Food: special of the day roasted halibut with cilantro rice, shrimp and seafood pasta , and strawberry & berries short cake for dessert. Our appetizer the Carrol Creek's Baked Oyster appetizer (no photo) featured 4 oysters prepared with horseradish, cheese, and bacon. Yum. ”
“ Perfect for spring and summertime hangs. The amazing food, the great service, the water views, it all comes together for a great experience. Can be a little pricey for a handful of menu items but if you get a salad you will definitely get your value for money. ”
“ Our service was very excellent on a Perfect Sunday afternoon with my wife who had suggested the place to go to have dinner on the water. I had the rack of lamb medium heat the Mac n cheese was delicious and the beets and carrots were different. My wife had a Seafood Greek salad sorry no pic, she said that she liked it and we shared dessert which was delicious it was a lemon cake with cream and fresh berries and had the bread pudding to go ”
“ //edit 4/20/24 My previous recommendation still stands, as my friend had a great experience for his birthday; just a small update for dishes I would recommend - we shared a fantastic crab dip four ways; the crab cake and crab cake sandwiches were delicious, the rockfish tacos were just ok, and the fries were a bit greasy. Definitely go for the crab cakes and crab dip though! // 1/30/23 I was suggested to come by here a couple years back by my culinary teacher, and I regret postponing it for so long! Carrol's Creek was wonderful, in the quality of the food, their service, and the ambiance. There was essentially no wait on a Monday afternoon, and the service was extremely fast. Our waitress was very kind - she overheard that it was my birthday and gave us a free dessert on the house. The bread pudding was great! I'm not usually the biggest fan of it, but the one here was fantastic. We ordered a crab dip, the sauteed jumbo shrimp, thai-style shrimp & scallops, fried shrimp po boy, and fall vegetarian bowl. Each dish came in large portions - more than enough to eat lunch and take home for dinner, barring the po boy. Both the sauteed jumbo shrimp and thai-style shrimp were extremely filling and delicious, and the crab dip was given a positive rating by my sister. Finally, the location itself is beautiful, and the seats by the windows have a great view. ”
